"CBH's Revolutionaries" with Congregation Bet Haverim

When

May 20, 2026
7:00 pm - 8:30 pm

Ever since the congregation was conceived by four gay men at a Passover Seder, inclusivity has formed the foundation of CBH’s mission. This program tells the inspiring story of our community’s evolution — from its early days as a safe haven for gays and lesbians, to the influx of straight members, and to our embrace of trans and gender-diverse Jews.

Rabbi Josh and McKenzie Wren will moderate panel discussions, with audience Q&A, featuring:

  • Early CBH members Bob Schwartz and Paul Glickstein.
  • CBH President Julie Fishman, the parent of a trans child.
  • Lauren Ganger, the trans parent of a CBH Community School student.
  • Reed Walton, who joined CBH as a nonbinary adult.

On the 40th anniversary of CBH’s non-profit charter and in honor of Pride Month, this three-part program explores all things Gender and Sexual Diversity.
